Public Art Project

In late September Colleen was one of 12 artists that were commissioned to beautify the city of San Luis Obispo, by painting the utlility boxes in the downtown area. Colleen's design was a tribute to the 15 foot Pacific Octopus that her grandpa killed back in 1946. It guards a Spanish treasure chest, coins from a sunken galleon, and a deep sea diving helmet. You can see it in person next to the courthouse, at the corner of Palm and Santa Rosa streets.
